About A Marvelous Transitional Living Home
Our Program
The program was designed to eliminate youth homelessness, promote violence prevention, and provide trauma-informed care. We recognize, acknowledge and adjust to the adversity of trauma, ensure universal precautions, prevent re-traumatization and provide trauma specific treatment interventions.
Our Vision
At A Marvelous Transitional Living Home,
we assist with the transition of older youth, from a state of vulnerability and feelings of unworthiness to a state of healing, resilience, self-sufficiency, independence, and equity/inclusion; by teaching the fundamentals of social responsibility, healthy living, and cultural acceptance within a family like setting and supportive community.
Mission Statement
To empower and instill self-sufficiency within vulnerable youth, by providing the necessary skills, nurturance and trauma specific treatment/interventions amongst a setting equipped to achieve an effective, successful, and marvelous transition into adulthood.
